As for foam mattresses, there are a lot of these types in the market today. There is the memory foam and the latex foam. Memory foams are known to copy the temperature that surrounds it. That means it can get too hot during summer and too cold during winter. That is its disadvantage.
However, a memory foam mattress is not to everyone‘s liking - lacking the springiness and softness of traditional inner-coil mattresses. So, if you prefer a more traditionally made mattress then a Jamison mattresses might be the one for you; Jamison mattresses score highly in many consumers‘ reviews.
There are many (MANY) memory foam mattresses currently on the market today, the different brands to choose from can be overwhelming. My goal was to save my readers the trouble of having to do the research on their own, and that is why I have included my personal list of the top 8 memory foam mattresses. Also, if your not familiar with what exactly a memory foam mattress is, I have included that as well!
Well you know I had to put Serta on here, right? It is, to me, one of my favorites! Serta manufactures a mattress product with sleep innovations using a 10 inch sure temperature memory foam. This bedding product comes with a 20 year warranty and two bonus memory foam pillows. The Serta iComfort Collection, to me, is really the best set of mattresses that have put on the market, and you can choose from firm, cushion firm, plush and ultra plush. A full can be purchased within the 800 dollar range. Queen and king sizes are also available, however they can be pricey.
The memory foam mattress has seen a unique rise in recognition. Less conforming traditional foam - or latex - toppers can also be found but neither possess the viscoelastic heat sensitive property that makes memory foam so comfortable. Open celled memory foam is typically the preferred type. This means that the cells (air bubble) are not closed but are interconnected to one another. This is commonly referred to as ’open cell structure’. However, viscoelastic is more than this; the mattress is not only sensitive to weight but also to heat. The more heat that is applied the more the mattress will yield.
